Biggest 2020 All-Star Snubs
February 18, 2020
The NBA all star game is right around the corner and that means the rosters have been announced. The rosters were released last Thursday:
Eastern Conference: The starters are Kemba Walker, Trae Young, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Pascal Siakam and Joel Embiid. The reserves are Ben Simmons, Kyle Lowry, Jimmy Butler, Khris Middleton, Jayson Tatum, Bam Adebayo and Domantas Sabonis.
Western Conference: The starters are James Harden, Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard and Anthony Davis. The reserves are Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Nikola Jokic, Rudy Gobert, Brandon Ingram, Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook.
- Bradley Beal: The fact that he didn’t make the all star team is unbelievable. He is averaging 29.2 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and 6.3 APG. He is currently the fifth in the entire NBA in PPG. This is the biggest snub of the All-star game.
- Devin Booker: I would consider Devin Booker the second biggest snub this season. He’s currently averaging 26.7 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and 6.3 APG. This puts him at eighth on the PPG leader list.
- Karl Anthony-Towns: KAT would be our third biggest snub of this year’s All-Star game. He averages 26.6 PPG, 10.8 RPG, and 4.3 APG. Even though he’s missed 18 games this season, he’s still top 10 in the league in scoring.
- Zach Lavine: He is our fourth and final snub of this year. He’s averaging 25 PPG, 4.6 APG, 4.1 RPG. He’s 11th in PPG and carrying his team to fight for a playoff spot.
