Tiger Playoff Preview: Week 11

November 8, 2019

Fresh off a win against their

rivals, Canton McKinley Bulldogs, the Massillon Tigers off into the Division 2 playoffs. They’re going to play a familiar opponent, Warren G. Harding, that they played earlier in week three of the regular season.

In that game at Warren Harding, the raiders jumped out to an early 7-0 lead on their first possession of a tigers turnover, but it was the raiders only score of the game. From there the tigers scored 49-unanswered points for the blowout win.

Massillon Tiger right guard Rager Els expressed how he felt playing this opponent again, “The same way we felt the first time. Strictly business.”

The young men playing in this game have realized that they have very little down time between week 10 and week 11. Warren has been looking to get back at the tigers and the tigers are ready to play again. This is a tough week, but the tigers feel like they can get it done.
